Digital Infrastructure
for Scaling Carbon Removal

What is Cula?

The digital infrastructure for responsibly scaling carbon removal. Cula’s MRV platform seamlessly captures and verifies data across the entire supply chain in real time. Bridging the gap between real-life processes and a carbon credit to showcase the world’s most effective carbon removal projects.

Highest quality carbon credits

For Credit Buyers

Cula’s MRV platform aids buyers in identifying the most impactful carbon removal projects — allowing for the direction of crucial funding toward projects that create the biggest impact and thereby increase our chances of maintaining global temperature rises within 1.5 degrees.

Advanced operations management

For Credit Suppliers

Cula provides an integrated operations management and MRV solution for carbon removal. Our software seamlessly melds with your daily operations, tracking every step of your production process, simplifying your operations, and empowering your carbon removal credits through data.

Highest quality CDR data

For Everyone

Cula fosters transparency in carbon removal. We gather data from diverse carbon removal sources, providing valuable insights to the scientific community for efficient carbon dioxide removal strategies.

Coming soon!

Enhanced Rock Weathering

Enhanced rock weathering is a carbon removal technology involving the spreading of finely ground silicate rocks, like basalt, over soil. Triggered by rainwater these rocks chemically react with CO2 and remove CO2 from the atmosphere.

Coming soon!

Direct Air Capture

Direct Air Capture (DAC) is a technology to extract carbon dioxide directly from the atmosphere. It operates by passing air over chemical solutions or solid sorbents that bind CO2. Once absorbed, the CO2 is then released from the material and stored underground.

Coming soon!

Marine CDR

Marine Carbon dioxide removal involves technologies to remove carbon dioxide from seawater, leveraging the ocean's natural ability to absorb CO2 from the atmosphere. Various methods, including ocean alkalinity enhancement and algal cultivation, are used to enhance this natural process.

Biochar Technology

Biochar carbon removal involves converting organic materials, such as agricultural waste, into biochar through pyrolysis — a process of heating the materials in the absence of oxygen. The resulting biochar is a stable form of carbon that, when added to soil, effectively sequesters carbon.

Additionally, biochar application in agriculture improves soil health by increasing fertility and water retention, making it a dual-purpose solution for carbon sequestration and sustainable agriculture.
